Finally I have had the time to create and upload Askelgirl Technology Centre DOTA Web page.

We have been under a lot of pressure from our loyal members and guests to host a DOTA tournament.

The teams who participated in the Summer 2008 Competition were [AG], act_TB, DsTk, qmX, Canturf,B-M-C, Tmc, [2, DiV, ATiG and FIAW.

Team [AG] Askelgirl consisted of the following players

[AG]Dodgeskitz
[AG]Clingwrap
[AG]Currybandit
[AG]Rocklobster
[AG]Nut_Butter

For all of you who were not present on the day here is a quick run down of how The Askelgirl Team performed.

Team [AG] Askelgirl VS DsTk in the first round and lost.

Team [AG] Askelgirl VS The Mighty Chicken in the second round and Won.

Team [AG] Askelgirl VS The Barracks in the third round and Won.

Team [AG] Askelgirl VS DsTk in the fourth round and Lost. But I am told not by much.

qmx won the tournament.

If Askelgirl gets enough interest we are willing to host a DOTA Competition. For the serious DoTA players out there.

But; I gather by the responce that the Barracks received when they tried to host a Dota competition recently, there seems to be a lack of "new blood" teams that are willing to enter into competition with the existing Canberra teams.

Thats why I propose that Askelgirl would like to hold a "Junior " or "Amateur" Competition for all the "NooB" players out there who love the game, but wrongly think that they "SuX"

The Next G of Dota

We will not be charging a Entry/Registration fee, just a pay for play system. We would like to encourage any "LeeT" DoTA players who are out there to contact us so that they can "Adopt" a "NooB" Team, to give them guidence, support and a little technical advise to the Next Generation of young Dota Players.

If you love Dota and winning isn't everything, but when you do win; it feels good... Then come on just have a go. You don't need to be in a team, all I want is for your to register your interest on the |AG| Forum or email dota@askelgirl.com.
